AEWIN Software forms the basis for most PAC advanced AE real-time applications, application specific modules customise it for a wide range of applications, providing ease of use. A “supervisor” option allows advanced features to be hidden from the routine user, and “layout” files provide instant setup for repetitive tasks.

AEWIN is available for all PAC AE systems, and may be used with older hardware, or to replay old data files, providing new insights and clearer graphics. “Point and click” interaction allows instant access to data features, and multiple screens and graphs with colour analysis features make analysis of complex data or large numbers of channels straightforward.

AEWIN options include 2D and 3D location, using the most highly developed algorithms, including distance amplitude correction and amplitude location mapping, remote control via network, or modem, internet data service, and advanced digital filtering to provide rapid data reduction.

Real-time high speed processing and digital filtering allow acquisition and processing at continuous input rates of 1.12 GB/second/system (56-channel DiSP), fully programmable signal processing provides easy data management, either direct or via network connection.

Applications where AEWIN is currently in use as the real-time data acquisition core include testing and monitoring of vessels, tanks, cylinders, bridges, offshore platforms, railcars, aerial lifts, cranes, nuclear reactors, aircraft, spacecraft, engines, electronic components, machining and grinding processes, materials testing, and research.
