An AE system based around direct connection to the industry standard high-speed (138MB/sec) PCI bus has significant advantages over conventional architecture. PCI-2 is PAC's third PCI AE system board, following the PCI-DSP-4 and the PCI-8, which form the core of the DiSP and Samos systems, and was developed for users requiring only a small number of channels. The system has data streaming capability in addition to feature extraction, waveform, and fft functions.

Very Low Noise, Low Cost, 2 Channel AE System on a PCI board. All efforts have been made to make the board the lowest possible Noise, achieved by the use of lower noise circuitry, internal averaging of samples (40MSPS base rate per channel), wider dynamic range A/D's, & 18 bit internal signal processing.

Continuous features: rms, ASL, absolute energy.

Transient features: time, amplitude, rise-time, count, energy, absolute energy, duration, counts to peak.

Waveform features: partial powers in user defined bands.-10 MS/sec per channel Sampling Rate (averaged from 40MSPS).

16 bit A/D (18 bit A/D internal for better than1dB resolution at low signal levels). All features are processed internally using 18 bits for higher resolution.

4 - 4th Order High Pass Filters 10, 20, 100, 200 kHz (LF option to 1kHz, VLF to 1.5Hz with ICP power)

4 - 8th Order Low Pass Filters 100, 200, 400, 3000 kHz.

2 Parametrics per board, one Differential with gain, filter and offset control, one Single ended with +/- 10 volt input. All sampled at 10KS/s, 16 bit A/D.
