Loss Control Online This system configured for valve leak detection provides an on-line alternative to the portable 5131-VPAC, which is used worldwide for loss control in refineries, gas plant, and offshore. The 5131-VPAC saves >$1m per annum per unit in losses.
New LSI system-2 corrosion maps one square metre per minute!
The NDTA LSI (Large Structure Inspection system) was always fast, but a new option which adds a second channel and interleaves the scans now provides 100% coverage for corrosion mapping at up to one square metre per minute. Field uses to date have included mapping of a complete ship hull for corrosion.

New Ultrawin Maps Corrosion both sides
Ultrawin software used for LSI can now simultaneously map both near and far side corrosion, giving maximum information in minimum time.

New Intrinsically Safe Valve Monitor
Safety and losses can now be monitored instantly!! The 1276-ASL-V connects directly to the plant DCS using its current loop and allows leaks of from ~0.1 to >10,000 litres per minute to be monitored using acoustic technology proven in over 15 years use in refinery loss control.

Free Motion Scanner
The FMS uses an electromagnetic field to know where a probe head is positioned in three dimensions, making corrosion mapping and inspection of complex geometries simplicity itself.

“Octopus” Monitors Corrosion Real-Time
The new Octopus system uses lamb waves to measure average remaining thickness between a pair of, or up to eight sensors in an array of up to one metre in size. Developed for continuous monitoring of corrosion damage on pipes and vessels in remote locations, the system is intrinsically safe and communicates to a host computer. Additional software allows it to be used to monitor sand production real-time since corrosion damage is a slowly developing process that only requires periodic measurement.
